TYR Hurricane Wetsuit Rentals
If you are trying to decide whether or not to purchase a wetsuit, consider renting as an option. The Tri-N-Run Triathlon Wetsuit Rental Program will give you the opportunity to swim and experience the benefits of a wetsuit without buying the suit.
Our wetsuit rental process is easy. We charge a $65 2-day weekend rental fee (Friday pick-up and Monday return) or a $100 weekly rental fee (Friday pick-up and Thursday return). All wetsuit rentals require a $300 damage deposit, a valid driver’s license and credit card. Once the wetsuit is returned in good condition and on time, the deposit will be refunded.
The best part about the Tri-N-Run rental program is that you can apply the $65/$100 rental charge toward the purchase of any wetsuit we sell within 90-days of the rental.
Should your rental needs require shipping, all shipping costs are the responsibility of the renter.
Rental Procedure
All wetsuit rental reservations must be completed in person at our store. Payment of the rental fee is required to reserve a rental wetsuit. Rental reservations are fulfilled on a first come first serve basis and limited to availability. All rental fee reservations are Non-Refundable. Renters must sign a liability waiver and provide the $300 deposit at the time of pick-up or before shipment.
All wetsuits are required to be returned clean and dry. Fees will be assessed for damages and cleanliness. If the wetsuit is damaged, costs to repair the suit will be deducted from the deposit. If the suit is destroyed or lost, the renter will be charged full replacement cost. A late fee of $50 per day will be assessed if the wetsuit is not returned in a timely manner.

TYR Hurricane Category 5
The highest-end suit in the Hurricane series is created using the finest fabrics available. The suit’s outside is made exclusively of the lightest Yamamoto Nano SCS rubber. The combination of super stretchy rubber with the soft jersey fabric on the interior makes for a superior fit and feel.
TYR Hurricane Category 3
With the goal to utilize most of the highlights of the Category 5 but deliver a suit at a fraction of the Category 5 cost, TYR created the Category 3. We used Yamamoto Nano SCS rubber to provide the best fitting competitive suit and combine that with the remaining highlights of the Category 5. To be quite honest this suit could be the high end wetsuit in any of our competitor’s lines. It is pound for pound the best wetsuit on the market.
TYR Hurricane Category 1
Both TYR and Potts found it important to offer a wetsuit for an aspiring competitor. With that goal in mind, the Category 1 was made. The simplistic, streamline version of the Hurricane offers the benefit of maximized performance and no fear of extreme fatigue when you enter the water by incorporating some of the highlights of the Category 5 and Category 3. The least expensive of the three suits, Potts was so confident in its design he placed his name on it to show his satisfaction. The unbeatable price helps you on your way to being unbeatable in competition.
