Fall Tri-N-Run Half Marathon Training Program supported by New Balance
Are you registered for the inaugural Purdue Boilermaker Half Marathon? Maybe you are thinking about registering and wondering if you can really run a half marathon. Join Tri-N-Run’s training program and let us help you achieve your goal! Participants will benefit from experienced, certified running coaches, knowledgeable staff…and just have fun running with others!
The training program will include: weekly running schedules provided to registered participants, coaching advice, track and hill workouts, and Saturday group runs hosted by Tri-N-Run. The fee for registration is $40. In addition to the above benefits, participants will receive a technical running shirt as well as hydration and nutrition support for the Saturday group runs. Informational clinics will be held at Tri-N-Run in late July for registered participants. Come receive a personalized, professional shoe fitting and pronation analysis to ensure you start off the program on the right foot. Special discounts will be available to registered participants during the clinics.
Additionally, program participants will be encouraged to participate in the Tippy Connect/Tri-N-Run Race Series. These two races will coincide with the Saturday group runs and will allow participants to gain experience in racing.

Important Dates: Registration ends 21 July, Training commences 29 July with an easy 2 mile run, First group run on Saturday, 4 August

Tri-N-Run Spring Training Program:
Tri-N-Run's spring trainning program is designed to prepare participants for the One America 500 Festival Mini-Marathon the first weekend in May or any other spring half marathon that you want assistance with training. Come join us as you pursue your half-marathon goal. Participants will benefit from the knowledgeable staff…and just have fun running with others! The Training Program will include:
*weekly running schedules provided by certified coaches
*Saturday group runs with hydration and nutrition support
*technical running shirt
*post-race tent for Training Program participants (Mini Indy only)
*Sprint workouts
*Discounted program rate at the Lafayette Family YMCA for cross-training and strength training
Joining Tri-N-Run for the 2012 Mini Indy Half-Marathon Training Program will be Shamus and Annie from K105's morning show!
The fee for registration is $30 for returning members and $40 for new joins.
Question and answer clinics will be held at Tri-N-Run the first week in February for registered participants.
